The Insulation Helper supports HVAC insulation installers in the installation of insulation materials for residential HVAC systems. This role involves assisting with the insulation of ductwork, pipes, and other system components to improve energy efficiency and home comfort. The ideal candidate is hardworking, eager to learn, and able to work in various home environments, including attics and crawl spaces.

Assist in measuring, cutting, and installing insulation materials on residential HVAC ductwork, piping, and ventilation systems.
Load, transport, and unload insulation materials, tools, and supplies to and from job sites.
Help prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces, removing old insulation, and setting up necessary equipment.
Seal insulation using adhesives, fasteners, or protective coverings to improve energy efficiency and system performance.
Support HVAC installers in operating tools and equipment related to insulation applications.
Follow all company safety protocols, including proper handling of insulation materials and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces to install insulation properly.
Assist in post-installation cleanup and proper disposal of insulation materials.
Maintain a professional attitude with customers and team members.
Prior experience in HVAC, insulation, or construction is a plus but not required.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in tight or elevated spaces.
Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Ability to work well in a team and take direction from supervisors.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
Work Environment:
Work in residential homes, attics, and crawl spaces.
Exposure to dust, fiberglass, and other insulation materials.
Requires standing, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting for extended periods.
